     2007 LINEUP
     
     Military Performers ---
     
     Canadian Forces Snowbirds
    The Snowbirds, Canada's national aerobatic team, fly nine Canadian designed and built CT-114 Tutors.
     
     Canadian Forces Skyhawks
    The Canadian Forces Parachute Team, the Skyhawks, are renowned for their signature Canopy Relative Work parachute performance.
     
     CF-18 Hornet (with pyro)
    Tactical demonstration of Canada's front line jet fighter. The Hornet's primary roles include air defence, training, tactical support, and air superiority.
     
     F-16 Fighting Falcon
    The F-16 is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. The F-16 demo team makes its second consecutive appearance at the Abbotsford Airshow.
     
     F/A-18F Super Hornet
    The F/A-18F Super Hornet has replaced the F-14 Tomcat as US Navy's top-line jet fighter aircraft. The Super Hornet is extremely maneuverable, which will be quite evident during its display.
     
     S-3 Viking x2
    The US Navy S-3 Viking demo returns to Abbotsford for the second straight year. Be sure to check it out as the US Navy plans to retire the aircraft by 2009.
     
     F-117 Nighthawk
    The F-117A Nighthawk is the world's first operational aircraft designed to exploit low-observable stealth technology. The USAF plans on retiring the F-117 in 2008 so this is likely its last appearance at Abbotsford.
     
     CC-177 Globemaster
    Canada's first CC-177 to enter service will visit Abbotsford direct from the factory. The Globemaster will be on static display Saturday morning and flybys are scheduled in the afternoon.
     
     CC-115 Buffalo
    NOTE: A full demo is tentative as the Buffalo may only provide support for the Skyhawks. To be confirmed.
    442 Squadron in Comox, BC is the only CAF unit to fly the Buffalo where it performs Search and Rescue duties in the mountainous terrain of BC.
     
     HH-65 Dolphin
    United States Coast Guard Search and Rescue demonstration.
     
    Heritage / Legacy Flights ---

     U.S.A.F. Heritage Flight (P-51/F-16)
    The USAF Heritage Flight program was established in 1997 to display the evolution of United States Air Force airpower.
     
     U.S. Navy Tailhook Legacy Flight
    Formation flight of an F/A-18F Super Hornet and a Hawker Sea Fury.
     
     CAF Heritage Flight
    Formation flybys of Bud Granley in his T-6 alongside the CF-18 Hornet.
     
    Warbirds ---

     P-51 Mustang
    The range, speed and high altitude capabilities of the P-51 enabled Allied forces to escort bombers far deeper into enemy territory than any other fighter aircraft during WWII. This allowed the continuation and fruition of the American Bomber force's tactic of precision daylight bombing.
     
     B-25 Mitchell
    The B-25 Mitchell was made famous in 1942 by the famous Doolittle Raid on Tokyo. The B-25 at Abbotsford in 2007 comes from the Minnesoata Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.
     
     T-6 Texan
    Bud Granley displays his T-6 Texan, painted in the colours of the RCAF Golden Hawks.
     
     F7F Tigercat
    The powerful Tigercat entered service with the US Marines in 1944 but did not see operational service in WWII. This is the first appearance at Abbotsford for the Tigercat.
     
     Sea Fury
    Ellsworth Getchell returns to Abbotsford in his Sea Fury painted in the colours of the Royal Australian Navy.
     
     Spitfire replica
    The Spitfire replica flying in the show is a full-scale home built version of the aircraft.
     
     Harvard
    Keith McMann will fly his Harvard, in the colours of the Red Knight, as a part of the warbird display.
     
     Langley Museum of Flight
    The Canadian Museum of Flight, located in Langley BC, will display a number of their beautifully restored aircraft during the show. After their performance each day, the aircraft will be available for viewing in the static display.
     
    Civilian Performers ---

     Bud Granley Family Airshows
    Bud and Ross Granley return to Abbotsford with their dual Yak display - Bud in the Yak 55 and Ross in the Yak 18.
     
     Gene Soucy Airshows - The ShowCat
    Performances include a solo performance in the ShowCat as well as a Wingwalking act with wingwalker Teresa Stokes.
     
     Kent Pietsch - Interstate Cadet
    Kent Pietsch flies a comedy act in his 1942 Interstate Cadet that includes extreme maneuvers such as an aileron falling off in mid air. In addition, Kent performs a dead stick (total power off) aerobatic routine from an altitude of 6,000 feet.
     
     Red Eagle Air Sports
    This formation aerobatic team flying the Talon Eagle makes its debut at the Abbotsford Airshow.
     
    Ground Performers ---

     AV8FX - Pyrotechnics
    AV8FX will be providing pyrotechnics for the CF-18 Hornet and warbirds flight demonstrations. AV8FX will also provide the always spectacular "Wall of Fire".
     
     39th Canadian Brigade Group
    The 39th Canadian Brigade Group will provide an impressive ground demonstration to display the capabilities of personnel and equipment.
     
     Insane FMX
    Be sure to arrive at the show early and get to show center to catch the Insane FMX team as they kick start each show day with their freestyle motocross demonstration.
