    3rd Annual Celebration of Flight

    The Adirondack Regional Airport 3rd Annual Celebration of Flight Air Show feature vintage WWI biplanes, military aircraft, aerobatic shows, live music, remote control aircraft, static display aircraft, crafters, food, canine demonstrations, children’s activities and more. The Great War Flying Museum bi-plane war birds will recreate the sights, sounds and feel of WWI aerial combat. The Iron Eagle aerobatic team perform two shows daily. Also performing each day will be the Drew Hurley Airshows featuring a YAK-55M unlimited aerobatic monoplane and Kevin Russo Airshows featuring a T-6 Texan. The Saturday and Sunday afternoon concerts this year will feature Roy Hurd and The Butterfields. Also returning this year will be the Malone Remote Controlled Aircraft Club, the DEC Canine Unit, dog obedience demos, Kiddie Carnival, face painting and a cake walk. Food and beverages will be available. Free and open to the public, the Celebration of Flight Air Show is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21. Gates open at 9 am with plenty of free parking. Air show activities run from 10 AM to 4 PM each day.
